How to read a EML file

  1. Drop your file into the area above or choose an email file. Try the sample first to see how the viewer works.
  2. Check the subject, sender, recipients and date. Switch between formatted email and plain text, or expand the message headers.
  3. Save the attachments you need. You can also export the body as HTML and print the email.

Read exported MIME messages

An EML file contains headers and MIME parts. The viewer decodes base64 and quoted-printable bodies, folded headers, character sets and attachment filenames. For multipart messages you can inspect text and HTML, while attached CID images display without remote requests.

Remote images, links and active content are blocked. Attached images are shown locally.
